Personality: Asuka is, like her mother, highly intelligent and top of her class. She has an IQ of about 280, almost matching her mother's IQ when she was her age. She is kind and gentle, yet she does have a bold streak. This she gets from her father. For the most part, Asuka hates violence, though when the need calls for it, she is not afraid to step up and fight.

Asuka is considered a protector among several of the students in her school. She has no tolerance for bullies, and she has a big heart for those who might be considered weaker by some. Many see her as a motherly-type leader. This springs from the princess side of her that demands respect and honor.

When Asuka does fight, she fights with the best of her ability. She prefers to fight enemies when she knows more about them than they know of her. This gives her an edge in combat and in just about anything else she does. She firmly believes that knowledge is power, and she uses it to her advantage.

Powers/Weapons:

Mercury Blade - This weapon is Sailor Crystal Mercury's favorite of all her weapons and powers. Formiddable with a sword as she already is, this proves to be her best weapon to use. She can summon this sword by calling out its name and reaching into an orb of water and pulling it out. The blade itself is thin, but sharp. The blade ripples as if made of actual water, but its edge can cut through most things and never grows dull.

Mercury Aqua Mist - This is used to create dense clouds of mist and fog to blind enemies. If she concentrates it, she can use it as a projectile type attack.

Shine Aqua Illusion - Another projectile-type ice attack, this attack can also be used as a barrier of solid ice to deflect powers and weapons

Mercury Aqua Mirage - This attack is another ranged attack, in which water shoots from the user and engulfs the target in an orb of water. The orb then converges to a point, and explodes with energy.

Mercury Ocean Twin Blade - This is a special attack which involves the Mercury Blade. The user creates two slashes of water magic in the air. The slashes glow brightly and then speed towards the target with great speed and precision. The attack can cut even through a concrete wall.

Micro-Miniature Super Computer - This is a tactical item that Crystal Mercury uses to gather data on her targets. Many times, when she activates it, a hologram-like visor appears over her eyes, displaying whatever data she wishes to see. She has actually modified it so that it now fits as a small wrist gauntlet instead of as a laptop like item.

Biography: Asuka Mizuno is the daughter of Zoisite and Ami Mizuno. She is the result of a small love affair they had, and as such has never met or known her father. She was born on Mercury in her mother's home, a year after all evil had left the planet Earth and the new queen of the Moon Kingdom had brought peace to the galaxy. She was raised solely by her mother on Mercury.

When she became old enough, Asuka was sent to Earth to go to school where her mother had once gone. Ami had received word that an evil was brewing somewhere in the galaxy again, and she decided her daughter would be safer on Earth for the time being. It turns out, she was right about the evil. The problem was, it wasn't just anywhere in the galaxy.

It was on Earth.

The Negaverse was at it again, and a new Moon princess had yet to be found and was in possible danger. As Asuka ranked up in her classes, Evil was at work all around. Soon, a small black cat named Luna came to Asuka and told her of her destiny, about a past that had never been taught to her before: her mother Ami had once been a powerful Senshi known as Sailor Mercury. With this evil rising again, it was now up to Asuka to take her mother's place, this time as Sailor Crystal Mercury. The change would resemble her royal Mercury blood, while also retaining some of the originality of her mother's previous life.

Asuka has yet to find the princess of the moon, but she has fought her share of enemies, teaming up with other young scouts to destroy them. They currently search for the princess, and when they find her, they will swear to protect her as their ancestors once did before.

Additional Information: Asuka is highly proficient with a sword and currently partakes in Kendo classes and tournaments. At the moment, she is champion of her Kendo team.

Asuka is often found with her nose in a book. Her friends often try to get her to join them on dates and such, and when she is stubborn about it, sometimes they even take to kidnapping her.....litearlly.
